A SALISBURY six-year-old, who is a massive fan of the infamous green AO fleet, received a special delivery from the firm – who even named a van after him!

Chase Woods, who has autism, is a huge fan of the trucks and spends most car journeys trying to spot one of them on the roads.

Chase’s mum, Jackie Dymer-White decided to get in touch with AO to let the firm know about Chase’s car game, hoping it'd be able to send him a toy van.

The team at AO.com decided to take it one step further and surprised Chase with his very own delivery to say thank you for his support.

Chase was delighted to see one of the vans pull up outside his house at the weekend, especially when he realised it was delivering him a brand-new television.

But that wasn't all, he was also given the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat and have his picture taken with the van.

Jackie Dymer-White, Chase’s Mother, said; “Chase had a great day, and the first thing he watched on his new TV was AO adverts on YouTube!”

The firm was also so impressed with Chase’s dedication that it has also decided to name one of its very own delivery vans after him. This is the first time the company has named one of its fleet and they will be revisiting Chase over the summer so that he can see his very own van out and about on the roads of Salisbury.

Dave Ashwell, managing director of UK logistics at AO, said: “We were seriously impressed with Chase’s dedication to the AO vans, so naming our very first personalised van after Chase was the least that we could do after he made our day here at the AO HQ.

"We hope Chase enjoys his new toy van and TV, and we’ll definitely be revisiting him when the named van is ready to go.”
