NORTHWICH firefighters were called out to two fires in the space of 12 hours.
A crew from Northwich was called to reports of a fire in the open in Middlewich Road, around 7.50pm on Wednesday.

On arrival, they found that a skip had been set on fire. They were at the scene for around half an hour.
This morning, firefighters were sent to Hartford Golf Club to a report of a fire in the boiler room.

The small fire involving a tumble-dryer was out when they arrived at the scene in Wallerscote Road.
Firefighters were in attendance for around 45 minutes, isolating the gas and electricity supplies and using a large fan to clear smoke from the premises.
