A FIFTEEN-year-old boy has been arrested after robbers armed with a machete raided a convenience store in Runcorn.
The Spar shop at Palacefield Centre was targeted in an armed robbery on the afternoon of Friday, May 3.
Two masked men entered the store and threatened staff with a machete before stealing a quantity of money and cigarettes.
Four young primary school age girls were reportedly in the shop at the time.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the incident but has since been released under investigation.
