CWAC director of place strategy, Lisa Harris, said: “The council is committed to ensuring that everybody who wants to gain employment has the right support to find the job that’s right for them.

“The number of people that our Work Zones have helped into employment has risen year on year and we’re very proud of the advice we and our partners can offer.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for residents to learn more about local employers and find out what opportunities there are within the local area.

"Employers will run workshops throughout the day where residents will be able to hear what their business has to offer, along with what they are looking for in successful employees.”
