WARRINGTON Record Fair returns on Saturday.

Collectors can search for hidden gems on vinyl from 10am to 5pm at the market.

The event will feature around 20 traders who specialise in a particular field of music such as soul, jazz, funk or rock.

There will be around 20,000 records, including some rarities, costing anything from £1 to hundreds of pounds.

Fans can also buy vinyl memorabilia.

Organiser John Beddows launched the event at Warrington Market in January 2018 on a trial basis but it quickly became a monthly event due to its popularity.

John, whose first record was Terry Jacks’ Seasons in the Sun, fell in love with music thanks to his mum Pat, a Beatles fanatic.

He spent his early career stage managing bands like Echo and the Bunnymen, The Farm and China Crisis and also runs a similar record fair in Sandbach.

Warrington Record Fair is on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and can be found upstairs at Warrington Market.

Free ticket validation for the new Time Square multi-storey car park is available at the market.
