TWO men have been arrested after a 26-year-old was accused of chasing a man with scissors yesterday afternoon, Saturday.
Police were called to Park Road in Fingerpost after reports were made of a man, in possession of what was described as scissors, chasing another man.
A 26-year-old man from St Helens was arrested on suspicion of affray; possession of an offensive weapon; and a Section 4 public order offence after threats were made in a cafe.
A 27-year-old man from Haydock was taken into custody on suspicion of affray.
Both men were taken to police stations for questioning, where they remain.
