POLICE are hunting for a masked man who snatched booze and cash from a shop in Rock Ferry.
Merseyside Police were called to McColl’s on Old Chester Road at 9.30pm yesterday (Monday, April 22) following reports a man wearing a balaclava entered the shop.
He had reportedly jumped over the counter and stole several bottles of alcohol and cash from the till before running from the scene.
No-one was injured during the incident.
The man is slim, around 6ft 2in, has tanned skin and a tattoo on his left leg.
He wore a balaclava with a red rim and dark tracksuit shorts.
Detectives are keen for anyone with information to come forward.
