A MAN was punched in the chest while trying to intervene in an "altercation" over the weekend.
At around 4pm on April 20, a man and a woman – in their late teens or early 20s, were seen to be involved in an argument, before "struggling aggressively" with each other on the ground near Swattons Close, Bulford.
A man who was nearby, attempted to intervene but was pushed to the chest by the man involved.
He was not injured.
Wiltshire Police officers are now trying to identify the man, who they believe lives locally. He and the woman walked off in opposite directions following the incident.
The man is described as white, approximately 5 ft 6 inches, of slim build, with medium length fair hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, black trousers and cream trainers.
The woman is described as white, 5 ft 6 inches, of slim build, with dark red hair tied up in a bun. She was wearing a black vest top, black and white striped trousers and black trainers. She was a carrying a blue rucksack.
