SCORES of people took to Salisbury's streets to celebrate Easter as part of the annual Procession of Witness.

Organised by Churches Together Salisbury, the event on Good Friday saw a group of worshippers carry a wooden cross through the city centre while singing hymns to mark the important religious date.

Starting at Salisbury Cathedral, the locals marched through High Street, to Poultry Cross, and on to Market Square.

A final worship was then held in front of the Guildhall, and delivered by Rev Nicholas Papadopulos.

Live music was also performed along the route by The Salvation Army Band.
