Eggs trail invite

FAMILIES are invited to take part in a free Easter Eggspedition this Saturday, April 20 at Mesnes Park Rangers Centre.

From 2pm, Easter egg scavengers young and old can follow the clues around the park to win some yummy prizes.

Refreshments will be available.

Fundraising fun

A FUNDRAISING event is to take place at Thatto Heath Park this Easter Sunday, April 21 to raise funds for a defibrillator.

The event will take place from noon to 3pm and will include a fun fair, face painting, stalls, raffles, a silent auction, CPR training and much more.

The event is in memory of mum-of-three Linda Fraser, who died last October after suffering a heart attack at Thatto Heath railway station.

Linda, a former worker at Waterfields Bakery in St Helens, was aged 63 when she passed away at Whiston Hospital on October 19, eight days after suffering the heart attack.

Her family, who run event planners Fraser’s Events, are hosting the day.

Safari discount

ANIMAL lovers can get 20 per cent off at Knowsley Safari Park this Easter.

Egg facts, Tiger Trail, Baboon Jungle, White Rhinos, Californian Sea Lions, rides, and a Safari Drive are all available at the Prescot based park.

Online tickets are 20 per cent off bookings until Sunday, April 21.

Adult tickets are £14 instead of £17.50, children’s tickets are £10.80 instead of £13.50 and a family ticket (two adults and two children) is down from £59 to £47.20.

Egg workshop

A FREE Easter egg decorating workshop will take place on Saturday, April 20.

Church Square Shopping Centre will host the event from 10am to 4pm.

Family fun

THERE will be Easter fun for all the family at Haydock Park racecourse.

The Greatest Show on Turf will see a full day of on-stage entertainment, activities and a fancy dress competition.

This is all wrapped up in a day of jump racing.

The fun takes place on Saturday, April 20.

Taylor park's Easter egg quiz and trail

AN Easter egg quiz and trail in will take place in Taylor Park.

The event will be held on Easter Monday, April 22, 2019 starting at 2pm

The friends of Taylor Park are staging the annual event, which begins at the boathouse.

Youngsters under 12, who are accompanied by an adult, can take part in an easy quiz during a short walk around the park.

The first 200 to complete the walk will receive a free Cadbury's creme egg.

Transport museum's egg hunt

The North West Museum of Road Transport will host an Easter egg hunt at its venue on Hall Street, St Helens.

The event on Easter Sunday (April 21), from 11am to 4pm, involves an Easter quiz.

Tickets for the egg hunt are £7.50.
