THE Wire Flyer has squared up with former Salford Red Devils owner Marwan Koukash ahead of the pair's Good Friday race.
Koukash and the Flyer are set to face off in the half-time challenge during Warrington Wolves' Super League clash with Salford on Friday afternoon.
A spat has been growing between the pair on social media in recent weeks, leading to the businessman and racehorse owner challenging the man he labelled the 'Green Monster' to take him on over two lengths of the Halliwell Jones Stadium's pitch.

Koukash tweeted earlier this week that the Wire Flyer would need 'all the help he can get' when they take to the turf, after his offer of a sprinting duel was accepted.

The Flyer had earlier remarked that the controversial ex-Salford owner 'couldn't run a bath', let alone 200 metres.
If Koukash does win the contest, he will become only the second challenger to beat the Wire Flyer after his first defeat came at the hands of the light-footed Will Clay during the Castleford Tigers game last month.
