EQUIPMENT worth £235,000 has been presented to 26 of Glan Clwyd Hospital's departments by its League of Friends.
The hand over was held at a presentation night in the Bodelwyddan based hospital’s dining room on Thursday March 21 to representatives of the 26 departments, who gave spoke on the value of the equipment donated to each of the departments.
A spokesman for the League said: “The total amount of money generated by our two tea bars and shop was £235,000. All of this is due to our dedicated volunteers and staff throughout the year.
“However we have moved to our a new area in the hospital and we are desperate for more volunteers. Anyone who wishes to volunteer should either call into the tea bar or shop or telephone the League of Friends of Friends on 01745 448788 extension 7208.”
