EARLIER this week we asked you to tell us about the best bars and restaurants in the town when it comes to customer service.

Maybe there's a barman who always serves you with a smile or a waitress who made eating with dietary requirements so much easier.

Based on the volume of nominations we have put together the following shortlist.

You can vote for your favourite by clicking on the ballot at the bottom of this story or by emailing competition@nqnw.co.uk with the name of your winner.

If your favourite isn't on our list, you can email the name of the pub or restaurant you believe delivers the best customer service in Warrington to competition@nqnw.co.uk

You have got until 9am on Wednesday, April 17 to submit your votes.

The winner will be announced in a special supplement in the Warrington Guardian newspaper later this spring and decided based on 50% readers' votes and 50% judges' final decision.

Ferry Tavern - Station Road, Penketh

Set close to the Mersey and the Trans Pennine Trail, this pub is known for serving great beer, live music and their fish and chips are always popular.

The cultural quarter's first craft beer bar has been growing in popularity since opening in 2016 with DJs, themed nights and an open mic night keeping regulars and new faces entertained over a pint.

"For fans of great beer, they no longer have to make the trip to Manchester when they can have some high quality craft beer right on their doorstep.

"They've adopted a safe space mentality where people can come if they are feeling low or lonely and meet a new friend.

"When you're drinking in there you feel like one of the gang."
