SPANDAU Ballet's Martin Kemp will be spinning some tunes at the Parr Hall later this year.

The musician and actor will be turning back the clock for his '80s Gold' DJ set.

All music snobbery will be thrown out for retro celebration on Friday, November 15.

Martin had great success, alongside his brother Gary Kemp, in Spandau Ballet during the New Romantic era with four of their records reaching the top 10 in the UK albums chart.

True gave the band their first number one in 1983 and altogether they have had five top five singles.

Martin, 57, is well known for his acting career too.

He teamed up his brother Gary again in 1990 when they played the notorious gangster twins Ronald and Reginald Kray in Peter Medak's award-winning The Krays.

Martin, a reality show regular who has appeared on the likes of Let It Shine, Celebrity Big Brother and Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls, was also a regular on EastEnders in the late 90s when he played the villain Steve Owen.

His character was in some of the soap's highest rated storylines such as the Saskia Duncan murder and 'Who Shot Phil?'

Martin Kemp will present 80s Gold at Parr Hall on November 15. Tickets are available now. Visit pyramidparrhall.com or call 442345.
