BEN Murdoch-Masila and his wife Roxy have received their official wedding photographs.

And they have supplied this image to Warrington Guardian so that Warrington Wolves supporters can share in the moment they put pen to paper.

Ben, a Tongan international back-rower who joined The Wire from Salford Red Devils last year, and Roxy, who is captain of the new Wolves women's team, made history at the weekend.

They became the first married couple to play for a Super League club, with Ben, 28, coming off the bench in Friday night's win against London Broncos and Roxy, 26, starting in the second row in the team's debut competitive match away to Barrow Island.

Their parents and siblings flew over from New Zealand to share in the special day with the couple and their daughter Acacia-Rose, 5.

The wedding, at Warrington Register Office on March 30, was followed by a reception at Spirit Restaurant in Victoria Park adjacent to where Roxy trains and will play home matches with Wolves, starting this Sunday with a riproaring 'derby' game against Widnes Vikings.

Roxy even managed to nip away from the wedding celebrations to join her teammates at the team’s pre-season dinner, where a guard of honour was formed for the skipper - still in her wedding dress - while she collected her shirt for the 2019 season.

Ben, sporting a 'shiner' in the wedding pictures as a result of the eye injury picked up in the previous night's Wire win at Hull FC, had a number of teammates from Warrington and Salford among the guests, including Dec Patton, Blake Austin, Sitaleki Akauola, Lama Tasi, Bodene Thompson, Junior S'au and Robert Lui.
