THE junior Wire Flyer made her debut during Warrington Wolves’ win over London Broncos at the Halliwell Jones Stadium last night.

Following on from the success of the Wire Flyer, the Mini Flyer took her bow in the popular half-time challenge during Friday night’s Super League clash - and was even chauffeured in a pink Mini before the game.

But it was a losing start for the youngster, who was beaten in a 50m sprint from the halfway line by her junior rival - who won a signed home shirt, hospitality to an upcoming home game and a meal for two at the Village Hotel’s Pub and Grill.

The Mini Flyer was introduced during a schools’ takeover at the HJ, with kids given £1 entry to the West Stand as the Wire romped to a comfortable 48-12 win over the top flight newcomers from the capital.

Thousands of the bargain tickets were snapped up, with an attendance of more than 11,000 making it the highest Wolves have seen for a fixture against London.

Meanwhile, the Wire Flyer himself appears to be back on form after racking up another win - his second victory in a row since being defeated during the Castleford Tigers game.
