COUNCIL leader cllr Russ Bowden is heading to the west of the borough to meet residents at Great Sankey.

The new meeting has been announced for Tuesday at 6.30pm and will take place at Great Sankey Neighbourhood Hub.

The additional forum will offer even more residents from across the borough the opportunity to question the leader on important local and borough-wide issues.

Cllr Bowden said: “I’m pleased to add an extra date to the string of forums I’m hosting this year.

“Feedback from residents has been clear – they want more opportunities to come and question me and engage in healthy discussion.

"With big projects like the Local Plan and the Local Transport Plan heading towards public consultation in April, alongside a range of issues that have been raised in previous meetings, I wanted to make sure residents have more chance to come along and speak to me.

“This additional meeting isn’t just for residents from Great Sankey, it’s for everyone - so if you’d like to come along and discuss the issues that matter most to you and your communities, you’ll be warmly welcomed.”
