Golden Square Shopping Centre is set to welcome a ‘very important bunny’, as Warrington youngsters are invited to celebrate Easter with a special appearance from Peter Rabbit.

On Saturday, April 6, Peter Rabbit will be hopping into Golden Square’s Easter Garden for a meet and greet at intervals between 11am and 4pm.

Fun-filled craft sessions will also be located on the mall outside H&M, where visitors can also enjoy designing their dream Easter egg giving them the chance to win egg-citing prizes.

Ian Cox, centre manager at Golden Square said: “With Easter just around the corner, a visit from everyone’s favourite bunny rabbit is definitely a must.

“We are looking forward to welcoming Peter to the centre as he has so many fans in the town.

“This will be a great treat for our littlest Warrington shoppers and a lovely opportunity for families to spend some quality time together enjoying all the activities.

“Throughout the day, we will be giving youngsters the chance to win some great prizes at our craft workshops.

“To enter all they have to do is decorate their dream Easter egg on the submission sheet and hand it in to the customer service desk before Monday, April 8.”

Prizes will include a giant chocolate egg from Thorntons, gift cards to spend at the centre, a Peter Rabbit bear from Build-A-Bear and much more.

Peter Rabbit will be visiting Golden Square Shopping Centre at intervals from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 6 April.

One ticket is equal to one family group with a maximum of five people.

All entrees for the Easter egg design competition must be submitted to Golden Square Shopping Centre’s customer service desk before Monday, April 8 to be in with a chance to win.
