TICKETS for Doves' first gig since reforming sold out in just four minutes.
The Wilmslow band, behind There Goes The Fear and Black and White Town, will be playing at the Parr Hall on March 28 as a warm up for their Teenage Cancer Trust fundraiser at the Royal Albert Hall a day later.
Tickets went on sale at 10am this morning, Tuesday, and were snapped up immediately by fans.
Doves previously played at the Parr Hall a decade ago in March 2009 and this concert will be their first since they went on a nine-year hiatus.
It is another coup for the historic Palmyra Square venue which played host to Stone Roses' first reunion gig in 2012.
