A MEMBER of staff has netted an impressive anniversary after celebrating working at Birchwood Leisure and Tennis Complex for 30 years.
Christine Hodgson reached the milestone on March 1, and was presented with flowers and cupcakes from her LiveWire colleagues.
She started work on March 1 1989, in the café and bar – where her claim to fame is making Cliff Richard’s lunch when he visited the tennis centre that year.
Christine then went on to work on reception in 1998, where she has worked since.
A spokesperson for LiveWire said: “Christine is a favourite with the customers, as she is always chatty and smiling when they visit the centre.
"Her dedication to leisure services and especially to Birchwood is a credit to her.”
