A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been sent to a detention centre for 12 months after glassing a man in Padgate.
On February 3 last year, police were called to an incident on Westland Drive at around 8pm.
The then 15-year-old had attacked a man with a glass bottle.
Warrington Magistrates' Court was told how victim was left with serious injuries and is still struggling with the psychological effects.

On Wednesday, March 6, the teenage defendant, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was sentenced to a 12-month detention order and made to pay £700 in compensation.
