A DRINK driver has been banned for more than two years after being nearly three times over the limit.
Stephen Small, of London Fields, Billinge had 104 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was breathalysed on Caroline Street in Wigan on February 17.
The legal limit is 35 micrograms.
The 38-year-old has been disqualified from driving for 26 months which may be reduced by 26 weeks if he completes a course.
He has also been ordered to carry out 80 hours of community service and pay a victim services surcharge fee of £85 and court costs of £85.
Small was sentenced at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
