WARRINGTON Wolves and Wigan Warriors are taking a different approach to this week's fixture and the fans can get involved tomorrow.

Marketing bosses are promoting a game of 'Bad Blood' when the two sides meet at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday night.

A video has been produced that highlights how matches between these arch-rivals can often spill over, including rare footage of a set-to between Warrington's Les Boyd and Wigan's Ellery Hanley during a promotional game in Milwaukee, USA, in 1989.

The build-up to this confrontation, the teams' first meeting since the Grand Final at Old Trafford in October, started early.

The Wire mascot Wolfie was ejected from the Totally Wicked Stadium for spying on the opening night of the campaign when Wigan faced St Helens at the end of January.

Then an advertisement on the side of a van made an appearance at Wigan's World Club Challenge clash with Sydney Roosters at the DW Stadium last month.

Now the weekly media press conference is to be done in public tomorrow, Tuesday.

Golden Square Shopping Centre, in front of the Debenhams store, will be the setting for the session.

The clubs have chosen two of their most fiercest competitors, The Wire's Mike Cooper and rival Wigan enforcer Tony Clubb, to sit on the panel.

And the two coaches, Steve Price and Adrian Lam, will be fronting up too.

It is all scheduled to kick-off at 4pm and the event will be free to attend for the general public.

Fans will get chance to meet the players and coaches following their media duties.
