STEVE Price sprang a major surprise by naming Ben Currie in his starting line-up for The Wire's clash with Castleford Tigers.
The second rower was thought to still be several weeks away from returning from a serious knee injury - the second such injury he has suffered in as many years - but he started tonight's game, bringing to an end an 11-month absence.
Currie played the full 80 minutes and helped The Wire to a 24-10 victory at The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
