A NEW comedy club is getting plenty of laughs.

Urmston Comedy Club already has two sold-out shows under its belt, with the February 15 and March 1 dates selling out in less than a week.

Urmston Comedy Club is now selling tickets for its April 5 show, which will include the highly sort after host and compère Matt Reed.

Matt is a regular face at all the major clubs in the country (The Comedy Store, The Stand, Highlight,

Hot Water, Komedia, The Glee, Jongleurs and more), Matt is also in great demand as compère for music

festivals, burlesque nights and corporate occasions.

He and Viz’s Simon Donald run a monthly quiz night

from The Stand in Newcastle where Matt is also a regular at Red Raw.

Not for the faint-hearted, Matt dishes out all styles of material from the delightfully perverse to unique observations and audience interaction. His presence on a bill guarantees to make a good show great.

Also performing on the 5th April is BBC Asian Comedy favourite Isma Almas. Isma is British multiculturalism

at its best: Bradford-born and a childhood split between Pakistan and Yorkshire.

Isma’s comedy is fused by her unique take on life as a British Muslim woman.

Matt and Isma will be joined by single mother-of-three Lindsey Davies, who offers a set consisting of dark and observational humour.

Favourite amongst the comedy circuit giants, such as Hot Water Comedy Club, Laughterhouse Comedy,

Manford's Comedy Club and more, she is also an international selling author of comedy novella, Mr

Wrong.

Topping off this fantastic line up is comedian Keith Carter. Known as one of the best character comedians

on the circuit, with such an attention to detail that many have not known he was in character.

His most famous creation, Nige, has gained cult status amongst comedy fans and comedians alike and is see as a comedy icon in his native Liverpool.

He has worked with Sean Lock, Reg D Hunter, Ricky Gervais and Russell Brand. Keith Carter can count Johnny Vegas and Jon Richardson as fans of his work.

Tickets are £12.50 and the club has teamed up with The Roebuck to offer deals on food including a two-course meal and comedy for £29 per person.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite or from the Roebuck.
