THE Stretton Fox has reopened its doors and revealed its new look following a major refurbishment project.
Visitors to the pub restaurant can enjoy a new bar area and carpets, tables, chairs, doors and windows have been replaced while being sensitive to the building’s rustic character.
These have been matched with a new colour scheme and soft furnishings and the toilets have also been improved.
Michael Newton, landlord of The Stretton Fox, said: “We wanted the new look to provide guests with a cosy pub where they can enjoy dinner, have a few drinks after their busy day or simply to relax with their four-legged friends and read the Sunday paper.
“The Stretton Fox is in a fantastic location in the Warrington countryside, and we have an amazing support network around us, so we hope that all of our guests, both regulars and first-timers love the transformation.”
The pub’s renovation has also been complemented with a new menu.
New dishes include roasted rack of lambs, served with asparagus, soya beans, broccoli and baby spinach in a rosemary white win velouté with spiced fried baby potatoes and a host of desserts including sticky toffee pudding.
Guests can also sample an expanded selection of gins, ales and wines.
