THREE police officers were allegedly assaulted when they attended a disturbance in York this morning (February 22).
North Yorkshire Police said it was called to the disturbance at about 6.45am in a pub on Lowther Street.
Officers entered the premises, and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, obstructing police, and assaulting two police officers, the force confirmed.
A 30-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, the force added.
It said both remain in custody at this time.
