PADGATE popstar Kerry Katona has been discussing dating on daytime TV ahead of her appearance on Celebs Go Dating.

And she joked her children have had 'more stepdads than hot dinners' during the interview on Loose Women.

The mum-of-four has been married three times but is hopeful of finding love again after promising her eldest daughter she wouldn't be 'putting her tongue down anyone's throat'.

Speaking on the show she added: "I wouldn't have done that anyway. I've got three girls in high school."

And after divorcing Brian McFadden, Mark Croft and George Kay, the former Queen of the Jungle says she's now ready to love again.

She added: "They've had more stepdads than hot dinners my lot!

"It's taken me to get to the age I am now to actually love myself and I think that's a critical point when you are single and you've had the past that I've had.

"I've had so many issues, mental health problems, addictions that I had to work on myself."

Seven unlucky-in-love celebrity singletons will return for the sixth series of the Celebs Go Dating on E4.

WEDDING ALBUM > "I waited 4 months for the perfect moment to propose"

Speaking at the end of last year, Kerry said: “I’ve never done anything like this before. If what I’ve been doing before hasn’t been working I may as well try something new.

"I’ve been on dating apps but to be honest they didn’t work.

"I’m so excited to be joining the agency and see who Anna and Paul set me up with."

Joining her on the journey to find love is Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey and Love Island’s very loyal contestant, Georgia Steel.

The single guys include The Only Way is Essex’s Pete Wicks and Ibiza Weekender head rep David Potts.

You can watch Kerry on Celebs Go Dating this Sunday on E4 at 9pm.
