MANCHESTER United and England star Jesse Lingard dropped into his former school on Friday to deliver a generous gift.
He arranged for Matt's Ices to give free ice cream to children at St Margaret's Primary School in Orford.
The 26-year-old has been a long supporter of his home town, having also been a pupil at Beamont High School.
In a post on Matt's Ices Facebook page, the company paid tribute to Lingard.
It said: "Jessie Lingard decided to treat the kids at St Margaret's school to free ice cream today what a lovely gesture from a great footballer."
Matt's Ices also hit the headlines last year when the firm gave free ice cream to patients at St Rocco's Hospice.
