COMEDIAN Rhod Gilbert has added an extra Parr Hall date to his tour due to demand.

The multi-award winning comic is returning to stand-up after a six-year break with The Book of John.

After selling out dates across the country, the Welshman has now extended the tour, including an extra date at Parr Hall on Saturday 16 November.

And it looks like Rhod's made-up hometown of Llanbobl is not getting a look in.

The tour’s content promises to be 'raw, personal and brutally honest – no more lies, no more nonsense'.

As one of the UK’s leading stand-up comedy talents, Rhod has enjoyed many successful years as a star of television and radio.

He has amassed eight series of the popular Rhod Gilbert’s Work Experience, hosted TV programmes including The Apprentice: You’re Fired, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You and 8 out of 10 Cats, and appeared on countless episodes of QI, Would I Lie to You and 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown.

He can also include two appearances at The Royal Variety Performance and regular hosting of Live at the Apollo on his CV.

Rhod Gilbert will perform at Warrington’s Parr Hall on November 16. Tickets go on sale on Friday at 10am.
