A DOCTOR's surgery in Bewsey is set to be turned into flats.
Planning permission has been granted for the grade two-listed building on Bewsey Street, formerly home to the Eric Moore Health Centre, to be converted into an eight-bedroom house of multiple occupation.
The premises is currently vacant, with the practice's services having moved to the nearby Medi-Centre Warrington on Tanners Lane when it opened in September 2016.
Application documents state that the four-storey late 18th century building’s owners have since 'not been able to find suitable tenants in its current form'.
Warrington Borough Council approved Tarporley-based applicant David Stearne Property’s scheme on Tuesday, February 5.
