POLICE are investigating reports of a hit and run on the Pink Eye roundabout.
An incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian was reported to the force by a third party shortly before 3pm on Tuesday, February 5.
The member of the public alleged that a motorist had failed to stop after the collision, but neither the pedestrian or driver has contacted Cheshire Police.
Officers conducted checks at hospitals, as well as with the ambulance and fire services, but no victim has been identified.

A force spokesman said: “Police received a third party report of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at 2.57pm on Tuesday, February 5, on Sankey Green in Warrington.
“Officers have conducted a number of enquiries, including checks at local hospitals as well as the ambulance service, and no victim has been identified.”
