A SELF-storage company is set to open in part of the unit formerly occupied by B&Q in the town centre.
The Milner Street branch closed in 2016 and has since been split into two units, with Selco Builders Warehouse having occupied most of the site since then.
But a smaller second unit to the Liverpool Road side of the site has been vacant since B&Q shut its doors.
Now Warrington Borough Council has granted planning permission for a self-storage company to move into the 992sq m unit.

It is hoped that the proposal will create seven full-time and three part-time jobs.
Planning permission was granted by the council on Friday, February 1.
