PRIMARY School pupils in Orford had a special visit from a giant inflatable brain last week as they learned about the importance of mindset both inside and outside of the classroom.

Youngsters at Beamont Community Primary School were visited by Elizabeth Cronshaw and Gemma Sanchez of Grow Your Mindset - a project that helps develop mindset to achieve goals through training and workshops.

The pair believe mindset growth is fundamental to learning and want schools to know that making a shift in perspective can change how pupils approach learning.

Pupils enjoyed a ‘brain gym’ activity day to embed their learning and understanding of the principles of growing their mindset.

The session finished with reflection and discussion of highly achievable strategies for children to use for life and lessons.
