A WARRINGTON-based home care company has relaunched a campaign to get more people caring for the elderly.

Following the success of last year’s campaign, You Can Care, Home Instead Senior Care, based in Warrington Business Park, is looking to recruit 28 caregivers to join its team.

Speaking of the campaign, Melissa Critchley, owner of Home Instead Warrington, said: "When we launched the You Can Care campaign last year, we saw an upsurge in interest from people looking to join the care sector.

"As our population continues to age, we are continuing to build our team with kind and compassionate people who want to make a difference to the elderly in the community.

"Although they are all unique individuals they possess common traits – patience, kindness empathy, attentiveness, dependability and integrity."

Amanda McAurthur, a caregiver for Home Instead commented on working for the care company.

She said: "I have been working for Home Instead for six months and regarding my working life, it's the best decision I could have made.

"I have some wonderful clients and knowing what a difference you can make to their lives, enabling them to remain in their own homes makes it such a worthwhile and rewarding job.

"I should have done it sooner!"

Home Instead Senior Care is an award winning home care company, which provides services tailored to the needs of individual clients.

The hashtag #youcancare has been created to support the campaign.
