A SCRAMBLER bike was seized by police as part of an operation to crackdown of off-road bikers causing a nuisance.
Officers from the police's off-road section are on patrol in Bolton this weekend to catch those riders behaving in an anti-social manner.
Taking to Twitter, GMP Bolton North wrote: "GMP’s off road bike section are patrolling in Bolton this weekend. They have just seized this scrambler bike off the rider
On the Stray Hall’ith Wood. The bike was being used in an anti-social manner causing annoyance to the local residents."
In October 2018, a major police operation was carried out in Astley Bridge, Johnson Fold, Hall i’th’ Wood, and Breightmet following more than complaints about nuisance motorcyclists.

In less than five hours, police officers seized a number of vehicles.
