EXPECT severe delays on the motorways tonight, Thursday following a vehicle fire, broken down vehicle and a major crash involving a car and a lorry.
The M62 eastbound from junction 10, Croft Interchange, to junction 12 M60 / M602 for the Eccles Interchange, is currently at a standstill due to a vehicle fire.
Travel time is an hour and 15 minutes.
This is not helped by a serious crash between a lorry and a car on the M60 clockwise between junction 12 Eccles Interchange and junction 13 for Worsley.
There are also reports slow traffic due to earlier broken down lorry on M62 eastbound from junction 8 A5281 Burtonwood Road (Warrington West / Burtonwood) to junction 9 A49 Newton Road (Winwick). All lanes have been re-opened.
