WARRINGTON'S two MPs joined Labour colleagues in backing a no confidence vote against Prime Minister Theresa May.
Helen Jones, MP for Warrington North, and Faisal Rashid, MP for Warrington South, were among 306 MPs to vote in favour of the motion.
But the Government survived last night's vote with 325 votes against.
It comes 24 hours after Mrs May suffered the worst defeat by a Government in history over her Brexit proposals.
The Prime Minister is now pushing for a cross-party agreement before she has to come up with a new plan for Parliament to consider on Monday.
