FIREFIGHTERS rescued a woman who was trapped inside an overturned car following a crash in Stockton Heath last night.
Chester Road was shut in both directions after the collision near the Bethesda Evangelical Church.
Emergency services were called to the crash scene shortly after 6pm yesterday, Tuesday.
On arrival, crews discovered that the collision involved a saloon car which was on its side in a hedgerow.

Firefighters rescued the woman from the vehicle.
She was taken to Warrington Hospital as a precautionary measure, a spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said.
Fire crews remained at the scene for around 25 minutes.
