A DOG groomers has opened in Stockton Heath to give five star pampering to Warrington pooches.

The Canine Cutting Club is based at 32 London Road and is owned by 24-year-old Bracken Tighe from Lymm.

She said: "I had to open a week before Christmas due to demand because everyone was so desperate to get their dogs groomed.

"We officially opened on Tuesday and about 45 people came for an opening party where they could win raffle prizes like a free groom.

"It's just me here so it's hard work and pretty full on."

Bracken studied bioveterinary science at university and has undertaken a number of courses including professional dog grooming and pet first aid.

She is now offering new customers 20 per cent off their dog's grooming until the end of January.

The Canine Cutting Club is open Tuesday to Saturday from 9am until 6.30pm with late appointments available until 8pm on a Thursday.
