Traffic camera view from the area
TRAFFIC was at a standstill after a crash on the M62 this morning, Thursday.
At about 9am, an accident between a car and lorry occurred eastbound between junction 10 at the Croft Interchange and junction 11 at Birchwood.
Traffic is still slow with congestion backing up to junction nine at Winwick.
Lanes two and three were closed due to the accident happening in the roadworks area.
At 9.15am, traffic started being temporarily held but was soon released after the accident was moved to the hard shoulder.
