THIS was the scene after a crash between two cars in Glazebury on Saturday night.
The collision took place near to the George and Dragon pub on Warrington Road shortly after 9pm.
Officers attended the scene and found that the collision involved two car, a red Renault Clio and a Grey Audi Q3.
The driver of the clio, a 43-year-old woman from Culcheth, was seriously injured as a result of the incident.
She was taken to Salford Royal Hospital but her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The driver of the Audi, a 27-year-old woman from Cadishead, was also taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
It is understood a child was also injured in the crash.
No arrests have made and anyone with any information in relation to the collision is asked to contact Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML-287507.
