A PENSIONER was hit by a car in Orford last night.
Emergency services were called to Battersby Lane at around 8.15pm yesterday, Thursday, after a 74-year-old man from the Warrington area was struck by a black Alfa Romeo Mito.
The pedestrian was rushed to Aintree Hospital, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Battersby Lane was shut for some time after the incident.
