A MAN has appeared in court for the third time in four months after being found in possession of indecent images of children.

Ben Ord, of Abingdon Avenue, Woolston, appeared at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday after the 28-year-old was found in possession of 34 category A pictures and six category C pictures.

He was handed a three-year community order and was ordered to attend Horizon – a programme for men who have been assessed as medium risk and have been convicted of a sexual offence.

Ord must also carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and will be on the sex offenders register for five years.

In August, Ord was handed a suspended sentence for using threatening words with intent to cause fear of unlawful violence.

He targeted a man and his family twice and shouted that they were 'going to get it' after following them home.

It was just days after the he admitted dangerous driving, criminal damage and common assault at Liverpool Crown Court in a separate road rage incident.
