THE first residents of the 173-house development at Hamlet Woods in Prescot are settling into their new homes, says builders Taylor Wimpey.

The development, which was launched earlier in the year, has already sold 10 properties to house hunters.

Taylor Wimpey North West has reported that residents have started to move into the site, and says homes are available under the government 'Help to Buy' scheme.

Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “We’ve spent a long time planning and perfecting Hamlet Woods to make sure it’s the right place for our customers to call home.

"It’s great, therefore, to watch it take shape and welcome the first residents to their new home.

“When complete, the development will feature 173 properties in a range of styles and sizes, suitable to buyers at every stage of the property ladder.”

The developer describes the location of the development as a "tranquil, rural setting" and adds there is still a selection of homes available.
