While a large chunk of the north has been warned of heavy snow and blizzards this weekend by the Met Office, the current forecast in Warrington is for sleet.
If you get up early enough, there's a chance of light snow on Saturday from 8am but it will feel like -3 degrees.
From 9 to 11am on Saturday the forecast is for sleet with the temperature dropping to -4.

And any sleet that does manage to stick will soon be washed away as the forecast for the rest of the afternoon is for heavy rain.
Temperatures are set to rise again early next week with a mix of sunshine and rain predicted.
