A TOWN centre pub is about to release its third charity calendar for Prostate Cancer UK.
The Bulls Head on Church Street has for the past three years raised money for prostate cancer by releasing a calendar capturing staff and customers.
This year is the first time it has been the women taking centre stage and photographed for the cause.
Although the calendar has been a success for the last two years, the people who have previously bought it wanted the women to take control.

Lesley Hepworth, 55, the landlady of the Bulls Head said: “It’s just normal women, we’re all different shapes and sizes and we had such a fun time.
“It was a fantastic morning and I’m really proud of all the ladies that came and got their kit off.”

Lesley is already making plans for the calendar next year and is positive all the women will come back again.
She said: “It was the first thing they said on Sunday after we’d finished.
“It’s just fantastic. People are already ordering them even though they’ve not seen it.
“They’ve only seen one picture.”
Last year’s calendar raised £1,100 for Prostate Cancer UK and the new 2019 calendar comes just six months after Lesley’s campaign ‘pint for prostate’.
The project gave men who came in with written confirmation of a prostate check a free pint.
The husband of one of the women taking part in this year’s calendar is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer after he made the discovery because of Lesley’s campaign.
She said: “He actually came back and thanked me because of what we were doing.
“He went and got tested and he’s been diagnosed positive.
“It’s quite close to my heart, we do a lot in here for prostate cancer.”
The calendars are on sale at the Bulls Head for £12.
