A CORPORATE bank manager who hasn’t danced she was five years old is taking to the dancefloor for Strictly St Rocco’s.

Liz Williamson, bank manager for Handelsbanken, will be dancing the paso doble with professional partner Lewis Crowder at the Warrington hospice-run event at Mere Golf Resort this Sunday.

Liz said: “St Rocco’s is a fantastic charity, which helps and cares for so many people living in Warrington.

“The support the hospice provides for both patients and families during difficult times is amazing.

“Being born and bred in Warrington, this is my way of giving something back to this amazing charity.”

Liz went to Orford Park Community Centre aged five for tap and ballet lessons but hasn’t done anything since.

She added: “I’m loving the lessons with Vicky and Paul at Cadmans dance centre in Sale, but really nervous about dancing on the night.”

Her cousin Zac was runner-up in the 2016 event and so Liz knows what to expect on the night.

She said: “I’m hoping to raise as much money as I possibly can for St Rocco’s and have some fun in the process.
