Delays on M62
MOTORISTS face delays on the M62 due to broken-down vehicles in both directions this morning.
There have been reports of severe delays due to a broken-down car on the eastbound motorway between junction 11 at Birchwood and junction 12 at the Eccles Interchange with congestion back to junction eight at Burtonwood.
All lanes have now reopened but travel time is around 60 minutes.
There is heavy traffic on the M62 in the westbound direction due to another broken-down vehicle between junction 12 at the Eccles Interchange and junction 11 at Birchwood.
