ARGOS is selling 'half Christmas trees' for people with naughty kids and pets.
The retailer, which has a store in Cockhedge, is selling an artificial tree they claim prevents curious cats and inquisitive kids from messing with decorations or, at worst, pull the whole thing down.
That's because the tree, while standing 6ft, is only a half parasol, meaning there isn't as much tree for cats to get their paws on.
The Home 6ft Half Parasol Christmas Tree's online product description reads "Keep your perfectly placed baubles, bows and bells out of reach of curious, crawling kids or your cats' playful paws with this 6ft parasol tree.
"If Santa's been extra generous, there's plenty of room to stack pressies underneath rather than scattering them around it. It's also a great alternative to the traditional tree if you're a tad tight for space."
It's currently on sale on the Argos website for £33.33 and if you fancy being a bit more adventurous, there is a snowy tree for a slightly more expensive £37.50.
